Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist who is currently fighting with the Flyweight Division of the UFC. She is the elder sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals via a majority decision. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded another medal in 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold in the year 2011, and was crowned the IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia was a professional who started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were also staged in 2016, and she won the 2016 IFMA Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a unanimity. Antonina shevchenko recorded her debut professional MMA fight in 2002 against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She won with a TKO in the second round. She went on to win her two subsequent bouts and both of them at the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko was absent from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa through a unanimous decision, and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Strikes Finale in the fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight following her first fight by unanimity. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Fight of the Night bonus. Shevchenko went 1-2 in her next 3-fights, defeating Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked down by a TKO in the second round, losing to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
