The first broadcaster to live broadcast from the floors of the New York Stock Exchange Maria Bartiromo is a renowned American television journalist who has numerous highly acclaimed shows under her belt. Being a veteran broadcaster having a total of two decades of experience covering economies and business Bartiromo has been instrumental in establishing CNBC as one of the top in its business and economic segment. It's easy to recognize that her highly successful career being a reporter was designed for the woman. Maria was a confused young girl about which career path to pursue. When she first started out, Maria wanted to be a singer. Later she became an interior designer. When she found out about the excitement and thrills that journalistic work, she had nothing she could do but go. The feisty lady isn't only a great journalist, she's also a role model for women trying to be successful in a men-dominated field. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress in the film industry television and on stage since the latter part of 1970. Since the age of 27, she has worked as an active professional thespian. In the year 1990, she made her stage debut with an Off-Broadway performance of The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. The show was later adapted to her first role on television, The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she received her first big break when she was cast in the movie Basic Instinct as a supporting character. The Firm was the film in which she was the lead woman for the very first and only time. The film was in competition with Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and others. In the 1990s she worked with a variety of top industry stars including Gwyneth Palow on Sliding Door Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes Julie Andrews Relative Values. Most recently, she played her character of the character of Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
